Mount Athos area, a unique culinary & spiritual experience

Find your inner peace on the easternmost peninsula of Chalkidiki, a unique paradise of serenity, blessed with unspoiled nature and a rich fish and seafood based cuisine. According to Greek mythology, Mount Athos is the result of a fight between the ancient gods and the giants, when Athos, a giant, threw a massive rock against Poseidon. As far as the Orthodox Religion is concerned, it is consider being the Garden of Virgin Mary. Either way, both stories underline the wild beauty and grandeur of this place called Agion Oros, “the Holy Mountain”.
